Description:

First Advantage is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the FA Integrations team.
The ideal candidate will be an expert in Java and the Spring framework, with extensive experience in cloud services, CI/CD tools, and database management.
This role involves leading code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key responsibilities include technical expertise in Java, Spring framework, JUnit, Mockito, and cloud services such as AWS ECS, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, Kinesis, Event Bridge, and CloudFormation.
The candidate will also be responsible for building Jenkins pipelines or similar CI/CD tools, writing SQL for PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and building Restful APIs and working on microservices architectures.
Leadership responsibilities include leading code reviews, enforcing coding standards, providing constructive feedback, guiding and mentoring junior developers, conducting training sessions, and fostering a culture of learning within the team.
Collaboration with product managers, DevOps, QA, and other teams is essential to deliver high-quality software solutions, as well as participating in Agile ceremonies and driving technical discussions.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software development.
Proven experience in the key responsibilities listed above is necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required.

The salary range for this position is approximately $100,000-130,000 base annually, tailored based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other relevant factors.
