Description:
LivePerson is the global leader in enterprise conversations, providing a Conversational Cloud platform for brands like HSBC and Chipotle.
The role is for a Software Development Engineer III - Full Stack (NodeJS) in a remote setting in Canada.
The engineer will be part of a core team building the LivePerson Voice offering and integrating it with existing solutions.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining scalable web applications with interactive UIs using Angular/Vue, developing JavaScript backend services with NodeJS, and delivering high-quality, testable code.
Engineering duties encompass technical design, implementation, testing, support, and participation in peer code reviews.
Collaboration with multiple engineering and product teams is essential.
Requirements:
A minimum of 6 years of experience in development with web frameworks for interactive and reactive UIs is required.
At least 5 years of experience in building successful production software systems is necessary.
Experience in developing Microservices, RESTful APIs, and backend systems is essential.
Proficiency in frontend web frameworks such as Vue and Angular is required.
Experience with backend web frameworks, specifically NodeJS, is a must.
Familiarity with code repository and deployment pipelines, including GIT, Docker, and Kubernetes, is necessary.
Experience with relational or non-relational databases, including MySQL and Cassandra, is required.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a related field is mandatory.
Expertise in backend web frameworks (NodeJS) and experience with Git are essential.
Experience with Kubernetes and AWS/GCP is a plus.

The salary range for this role is between $135,000 to $160,000, with final compensation based on various factors.
