Description:
The Senior Software Engineer will be part of the Digital Experience Analytics (DXA) team and report to the Senior Engineering Manager.
This role can be performed remotely anywhere within the United States.
The engineer will empower Fullstory customers by delivering valuable insights into their users' digital interactions, impacting business success and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include collaborating with teammates to craft strategies for scaling Fullstory’s flagship application, engineering systems that handle hundreds of thousands of requests per second, maintaining and troubleshooting parts of Fullstory’s production environment, and assisting other teams to build impressive capabilities.
The engineer will work closely with design and product counterparts to propose new solutions for customer pain points and collaborate with customers to craft purpose-built solutions that meet their unique needs.
Requirements:
Candidates must be proficient in structuring data and APIs effectively to enable capabilities across multiple services.
Experience in driving consensus on large, complex architectural changes through clear communication and technical writing is required.
Candidates should have experience writing production code in one or more of the following back end languages: Go, Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and the ability to learn new languages.
Experience in building web systems at scale using React, Typescript, or similar front end technologies is necessary.
Familiarity with supporting highly available and reliable cloud-based microservices and technologies such as Kubernetes, gRPC, Solr, BigQuery/Redshift, and BigTable/Cassandra/DynamoDB is required.
