The Senior Software Engineer (Back End) will leverage their experience to impact initiatives and influence peers, driving quality outcomes for customers.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of related work experience and a passion for quality.
Expertise in API design (REST & RPC) and frameworks such as protobuf, gRPC, and OpenAPI is required.
Experience with service-oriented architecture, microservices, and tools like Docker, ECS, Lambda, SQS, and Kinesis is necessary.
Familiarity with persistence, storage, and caching mechanisms, including MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB, and S3, is expected.
Experience with Elasticsearch is desirable, and mastery of PHP or Go is highly advantageous.
Candidates should build systems with monitoring and observability, employing best practices for fault tolerance.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead by example are essential.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required to articulate complex concepts to various stakeholders.
Experience in mentoring junior and mid-level developers and promoting best practices is necessary.

The salary range for this position is $132,000 - $148,500 a year, considering multiple factors such as market factors, experience, and skills.
