Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• CleanSpark, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in UI/UX design to join their dynamic team.
• The role involves contributing significantly to the development of high-quality software solutions that power Bitcoin mining operations.
• Responsibilities include architecting, developing, testing, and maintaining robust and scalable software applications.
• The engineer will implement front-end components using React and Tailwind CSS, focusing on intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
• Back-end services and APIs will be developed using Node.js, Python, or Golang.
• Collaboration with product managers and designers is essential to translate user requirements into interactive and visually appealing interfaces.
• The engineer will ensure consistency and adherence to UI/UX design standards across all applications.
• Conducting user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve user experience is also part of the role.
• The engineer will write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Utilizing AWS services for deploying and managing applications is required, along with familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitLab CI/CD.
• The role involves using Docker for containerization and deployment of applications and managing code repositories using Git.
• The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables, mentor junior developers, and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Staying updated with emerging technologies and identifying opportunities for optimization, scalability, and performance improvement is expected.
• The engineer will contribute to key initiatives that enhance the efficiency and user experience of Bitcoin mining applications and influence the technological and design roadmap.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proven experience in delivering complex software projects on time and within scope is required.
• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Golang, React, Tailwind CSS, AWS, Docker, CI/CD tools, and Git is essential.
• A strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices is necessary.
• Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD is required.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are essential soft skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for collaboration in a team environment.
• Candidates should be able to adapt to a fast-paced industry.
