As a Senior Software Engineer - Data, you will focus on improving the quality, quantity, resilience, and processing speed of data.
Responsibilities include developing, releasing, and maintaining high-quality data pipelines, ETL, and ELT processes.
You will own and guide the development of the data infrastructure and develop custom integrations and APIs for data collection, cleaning, and enrichment.
The role involves promoting collaboration and learning across teams through mentoring and knowledge-sharing.
You will participate in an on-call rotation to ensure data availability and assist stakeholders with data-related technical issues.
Experience with data pipelines, workflow management tools, data warehouses, and cloud-based infrastructure is required.
You will collaborate with Data Scientists to design scalable implementations of their models and identify bottlenecks to improve data and engineering processes.

Requirements:

A minimum of 6 years of relevant engineering experience with data, data pipelines, and/or machine learning is required.
Expert-level knowledge of Python is essential.
A proven track record of shaping and shipping valuable features is necessary.
Experience in driving high-leverage improvements to infrastructure and processes is required.
Strong judgment to manage technical debt and risk appropriately is needed.
Excellent written communication skills are essential, especially for remote collaboration.
Previous startup experience is preferred.
Nice-to-have qualifications include DevOps or platform/infrastructure experience and experience with ML Ops processes.
