Description:

Join Tubi, Fox Corporation's premium ad-supported video-on-demand streaming service, in the role of Senior Software Engineer, Data Engineering.
Lead the team in building real-time systems to handle data at a massive scale.
Set culture, best practices, and expectations for working with data.
Collaborate with product teams, data scientists, and engineers to unlock data potential.
Mentor newer engineers and build efficient pipelines, datasets, and data products.
Own product data needs from raw data ingestion to end-user analysis.
Build high-quality datasets using Spark or similar technologies.
Identify and address data quality issues and set up data quality monitors.
Communicate effectively to document and educate the team on dataset usage.
Liaise between product and data infrastructure teams to meet business needs efficiently.
Design, build, and maintain Scala services at scale.
Participate in occasional daytime on-call rotation.

Requirements:

7+ years of software and/or data engineering experience in building scalable data pipelines.
Strong experience with Spark, preferably using Scala or pySpark.
Experience working with datasets at a PB scale.
Familiarity with Databricks, AWS, Redshift, and DBT.
Knowledge of ClickHouse and/or Flink is a strong plus.
Strong experience in JVM language (Scala preferred).

Competitive annual compensation ranging from $147,000 to $234,000, depending on location, skills, and experience.
Eligibility for annual discretionary bonus and long-term incentive plan.
