Jobgether is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Data Engineering to work remotely in India.
This role involves designing, building, and optimizing robust, scalable data pipelines that support AI-driven analytics and large-scale data processing.
The engineer will work with technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, and Databricks to develop real-time and batch solutions.
Responsibilities include integrating machine learning models and contributing to the company’s growing data infrastructure.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including data science and product engineering, is essential to drive innovation and performance across a global user base.
Key accountabilities include designing and implementing scalable, fault-tolerant pipelines, building ETL processes, developing and optimizing Spark pipelines, collaborating with ML teams, integrating real-time data streaming solutions, ensuring data quality, and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in data or software engineering with distributed systems.
Proficiency in Scala, Python, or Java is required, along with hands-on experience in Spark and Databricks.
Experience with real-time data streaming technologies such as Kafka, Flink, or Kinesis is necessary.
A solid background in AWS or similar cloud platforms, including S3, Lambda, and EMR, is expected.
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn is important.
Knowledge of data warehousing, SQL/NoSQL databases, and performance optimization is required.
Experience with CI/CD, testing frameworks, and scalable model training pipelines is essential.
Strong collaboration skills and a continuous learning mindset are necessary for this role.
