Remote Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform

Requirements:

• Candidates must have experience working on software development teams, specifically in building and deploying data pipelines and infrastructure.
• A passion for building quality products and a desire to own product development end-to-end with high design and development standards is essential.
• Familiarity with software development practices such as version control, unit testing, and CI/CD is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience is necessary.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the software development lifecycle is required.
• Prior hands-on experience in building data services and APIs in Python is mandatory.
• Experience in leading data modeling and storage design using various database technologies is required.
• Candidates must have hands-on experience with at least one of the following: MongoDB, Elastic-search, or Kafka.
• Experience with data pipelines or applications using Python or Java is necessary.
• Familiarity with modern technologies like Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, or Dbt is a plus but not required.
• Prior experience in healthcare and life sciences is also a plus but not required.

Benefits:

• The salary range for this position is between $140,000 to $165,000 annually.
