Description:

Pryon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their AI Engineering team in Boston, MA or New York City, with options for remote work.
The role involves collaborating with the AI Engineering team, Software Engineering, Platform, and Product teams to build a data platform for a large-scale enterprise answer engine product.
Responsibilities include building a secure, stable, and scalable platform for connecting to various systems of record in an enterprise setting.
The engineer will improve data ingestion systems for world-class Information Retrieval and Question Answering systems over both structured and unstructured data.
The role also requires enabling the Information Retrieval systems to scale to very large collections of documents and facilitating a new generation of AI-driven applications over enterprise data.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a deep grounding in Computer Science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
A minimum of 5 years of industry experience is required, with technical leadership experience being a plus.
A Master's or higher degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field is preferred, or a Bachelor's degree with relevant work experience.
Proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript is necessary, along with demonstrated experience in Golang, Python, and SQL.
Experience in developing large-scale micro-service oriented solutions is required.
A deep understanding of REST, SOAP, and GraphQL is essential.
Familiarity with authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, and Keycloak is needed.
Direct developer experience with collaboration and content management platforms is required.
Candidates should have experience collaborating with and communicating feature impacts to both front-end and back-end engineering teams.

The salary range for this position is between $160,000 and $190,000 per year, with actual compensation varying based on location and experience.
