Description:

The company behind ClickHouse, a high-performance columnar OLAP database management system for real-time analytics, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Cloud AutoScaling team.
The team is dedicated to implementing robust vertical and horizontal auto-scaling capabilities within the ClickHouse cloud environment to transform it into a fully functional serverless database solution.
Responsibilities include building a cutting-edge Cloud Native platform on top of the public cloud, improving metrics pipeline, working on autoscale and Kubernetes operator, collaborating with core development team, and architecting a robust, scalable, and highly available distributed infrastructure.

5+ years of relevant software development industry experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with building and estimating statistical models and time-series forecasting with large-scale datasets.
Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, etc.)/R or equivalent.
Experience with Data Storage, Ingestion, and Transformation tools like Spark, Kafka, etc.
Passion for solving data problems at scale.
Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their infrastructure as a service offering.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within and across engineering teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and solid production debugging skills.
