Doxel is an AI company that uses cameras and image recognition to analyze construction projects and predict delays.
The Senior Software Engineer - Data Science role involves working with stakeholders to understand business problems, improving data models, democratizing data through productionizing pipelines, performing statistical analysis, and deploying models to production.
The position requires excellent judgment, problem-solving skills, communication abilities, proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization toolkits, 5+ years of experience in software engineering, 2+ years as a Data Scientist, a Master's degree in statistics or related field, and deep knowledge of statistics, machine learning, and cloud services.

Requirements:

Proven track record of delivering data science solutions with creative problem-solving skills.
Excellent communicator with strong storytelling ability.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, pandas, scikit-learn, and data visualization toolkits.
5+ years of experience in software engineering building data-driven SaaS products.
2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
Master’s degree in statistics, data science, or related field.
Deep knowledge of statistics, predictive modeling, machine learning, data mining, graph theory, and feature engineering.
Experience with cloud services and platforms like GCP, Azure, AWS, etc.

Base salary of $170,000 - $210,000, plus equity.
