Description:
Included Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Data Tools to help raise the standard of healthcare for everyone.
The role involves building tools that gather, clean, and conform member medical data into actionable insights and metrics.
Responsibilities include integrating a common data model with open-source tools, developing a streaming event framework, and implementing data validation concepts.
The position is remote and requires collaboration with Data Science, Analytics, and Product teams to improve medical outcomes and ensure data privacy and governance standards.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is required, along with 5+ years of technical engineering experience in coding languages such as C#, C++, Java, Python, or Scala.
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in building data ingestion and transformation pipelines using AWS Athena, Apache Flink, or Apache Spark.
Direct ownership and responsibility for the development, implementation, and production release of multiple data processing solutions is necessary.
Preferred qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, 4+ years of coding experience, and 2+ years of experience developing production-grade frontend applications using React or Angular.
Technical leadership experience and mentoring junior developers are also preferred.
