Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• Lone Wolf is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to construct web applications using React.js and PHP.
• The position is remote and focuses on supporting the delivery of new and existing web apps for the real estate industry.
• The engineer will develop products that are simple, intuitive to use, easy to maintain, responsive, and high-performing.
• The role involves participating in the software development life cycle to enhance the end-to-end experience and shape the vision of innovative products.
• Responsibilities include building and supporting APIs in PHP, contributing to front-end modules, and solving complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
• The engineer will also integrate data storage solutions and identify and implement solutions to customer problems.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 4+ years of experience with the PHP language.
• A strong knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming is required.
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance is essential.
• Candidates should have a grasp of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications.
• Experience with user authentication and authorization across multiple systems, servers, and environments is necessary.
• The ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system is required.
• Candidates must be capable of creating database schemas that support business processes.
• Familiarity with SQL databases is expected.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, is necessary.
• Prior experience with at least one major IaaS and/or PaaS technology, such as Azure or AWS, is required.
• Candidates should be able to identify and solve technical challenges with the development team.
• Frontend experience with React.js is also required.
