The role of Senior Software Engineer is within the Cloud Engineering team and is focused on software engineering, not DevOps.
The position is remote and open to candidates based in Europe.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing cloud-native services with Kubernetes, GCP, and modern engineering best practices.
The engineer will write high-quality, maintainable code using Python, Go, and other modern languages.
The role involves working directly with customers to understand technical needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Collaboration across cross-functional teams to drive outcomes from concept to deployment is essential.
The engineer will build and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code, such as Terraform.
The position may involve operating in both GCP and AWS environments and optionally applying AI/ML platforms for select use cases.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong, hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform is required.
Proficiency in building distributed systems and microservices using Kubernetes is necessary.
Expertise in Python, Go, or similar high-level programming languages is essential.
Familiarity with DevOps workflows, CI/CD, GitOps, and infrastructure as code is required.
Candidates should have the ability to thrive in ambiguity and work in fast-moving environments.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are necessary.
Bonus points for experience with AWS and cloud-native AI/ML platforms.
