Description:

  • Webflow is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Designer Data team to work on ambitious challenges related to storage, scaling, and syncing capabilities of their core product.
  • The role is full-time, permanent, and remote-first for the United States and specific regions in Canada.
  • The Senior Software Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager of Designer Data and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Responsibilities include building, testing, and documenting production code impacting all Webflow customers, participating in engineering activities, and improving planning and deployment processes.
  • The role involves solving technical challenges on a geographically distributed team and supporting personal development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in scalable, multi-tenant environments.
  • Proficiency in debugging production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack is required.
  • Deep understanding of data design and modeling is essential.
  • Familiarity with Node.js, React, TypeScript, framework development, and server-rendering complex React applications at scale is necessary.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate trade-offs between technical and business requirements are expected.
  • Comfort working in an agile, safe-to-fail environment is a requirement.
