The Engineering organization focuses on producing software that addresses significant problems in digital forensics and incident response.
The Detection Engineering Team is seeking a talented engineer to build the next generation of Incident Response products and develop high-impact detection mechanisms.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, debugging, and delivering tools to assist in the investigative process, creating technical documentation, identifying and implementing solutions to team problems, developing production code, writing automated tests, and participating in peer code reviews.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science related field or equivalent practical experience is required.
Proficiency in Rust or C++/C, with low-level development exposure, is essential.
Experience in C# development is necessary, as the team works in both C# and Rust.
A solid understanding of Windows, Linux, and/or Mac Internals is required.
Experience with memory analysis, reverse engineering, malware analysis, or kernel development is needed.
Additional skills that are beneficial include developing robust, well-tested production code, familiarity with kernel development and debugging tools, understanding common threat analysis models, knowledge of threat intelligence formats, and experience in writing and maintaining automated test suites.
Good communication and collaboration skills, an aptitude for learning new technologies, and practical leadership experience are also valued.

Benefits:
The compensation range for the position is CAD $107,200 - $160,800 or USD $128,800 - $193,200, depending on location and experience.
