Remote Senior Software Engineer, Developer Experience

• The Senior Software Engineer will specialize in improving developer experience by focusing on reliability, quality, scalability, and maintainability of the system.
• This role involves collaborating with developers to identify testing gaps and facilitating existing testing workflows by building standardized frameworks and shared libraries.
• Responsibilities include pioneering new testing strategies, leading the design and deployment of testing frameworks, and improving the stability and reliability of testing suites.
• The engineer will work full stack across a codebase written in TypeScript, Swift, and Kotlin, with the possibility of specializing in one language.
• The position requires mentoring junior and mid-level engineers and fostering a culture of quality and testing excellence.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, preferably in TypeScript, Kotlin, and/or Swift.
• Extensive experience with testing practices at all levels, including unit, integration, and UI testing, is required.
• Proven ability to design and execute large-scale shared libraries and implement external libraries within a large codebase is necessary.
• The candidate should be able to mentor and train engineers on reliability tactics, including creating documentation and leading training workshops.
