Remote Senior Software Engineer, DevOps

Description:

• Tapcart is a mobile commerce platform that powers mobile apps for over 50 million consumers worldwide, processing over $6 billion in mobile commerce revenue.
• As a Senior Engineer on the Platform team, you will contribute to cloud applications by supporting the development, deployment, and release of SDKs, APIs, and innovative customer-facing products.
• This role involves working on a cloud full-stack dev team, focusing on developer tooling, optimizing workflows, and maintaining cloud architecture.
• You will build and deploy new microservices in a cloud environment and architect cutting-edge services in collaboration with cloud technology partners.
• The position requires optimizing cloud infrastructure for cost and performance while ensuring enterprise-grade security and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• You must have 5-7 years of experience in software engineering.
• Expertise in cloud-based solutions, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is required.
• You should have experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tools for provisioning cloud infrastructure and deploying applications.
• Networking configuration experience in a cloud computing environment is necessary.
• Proficiency in technologies such as Node.js, Typescript, Docker, and Kubernetes is essential.
• You must be able to architect software solutions and obtain buy-in from stakeholders.
• Proven experience in defining API schemas and managing changes over time is required.
• Experience in system architecture design and application development is necessary.
• Familiarity with NoSQL and SQL databases is expected.
• Nice-to-haves include an interest in software development beyond DevOps and experience with React, React Native, Next.js, CSS, and mobile development.
