Description:
The Senior Software Engineer - Digital Workplace will be part of the Workplace Engineering team specializing in web architecture and analytics.
Responsibilities include designing and delivering web-based systems and SAAS, providing insights into the workplace experience, enabling new processes, and improving existing workflows.
The role involves collaborating with a distributed team, writing high-quality code, debugging issues, and providing code reviews.
The engineer will discuss ideas, estimate work, set goals, write project specifications, and understand risks.
Coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback to junior team members is essential, along with connecting to data sources and providing visualizations.
Database design, developing new working practices, and providing tooling for optimized processes are also part of the role.
The ideal candidate will be an expert in backend web service programming, web development technologies, data analytics, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, and data visualization.
The role requires an analytical, data-driven mind, leadership skills, and a passion for connecting and making sense of data from APIs.
Requirements:
Expertise in backend web service programming in Python and Node.JS.
Solid understanding of web development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Proficiency in data analytics, statistical analysis, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, and machine learning.
Strong skills in data visualization.
Analytical, data-driven mindset with a passion for experimentation and analytics.
Demonstrated leadership, excellence, and consistency in work.
Ability to mentor and provide feedback to junior team members.
