Description:

  • The Senior Software Engineer - Digital Workplace will be part of the Workplace Engineering team specializing in web architecture and analytics.
  • Responsibilities include designing and delivering web-based systems and SAAS, providing insights into the workplace experience, enabling new processes, and improving existing workflows.
  • The role involves collaborating with a distributed team, writing high-quality code, debugging issues, and providing code reviews.
  • The engineer will discuss ideas, estimate work, set goals, write project specifications, and understand risks.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback to junior team members is essential, along with connecting to data sources and providing visualizations.
  • Database design, developing new working practices, and providing tooling for optimized processes are also part of the role.
  • The ideal candidate will be an expert in backend web service programming, web development technologies, data analytics, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, and data visualization.
  • The role requires an analytical, data-driven mind, leadership skills, and a passion for connecting and making sense of data from APIs.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in backend web service programming in Python and Node.JS.
  • Solid understanding of web development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in data analytics, statistical analysis, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, and machine learning.
  • Strong skills in data visualization.
  • Analytical, data-driven mindset with a passion for experimentation and analytics.
  • Demonstrated leadership, excellence, and consistency in work.
  • Ability to mentor and provide feedback to junior team members.
