Description:

The Senior Software Engineer - Digital Workplace will be part of the Workplace Engineering team specializing in web architecture and analytics.
Responsibilities include designing and delivering web-based systems and SAAS, providing insights into the workplace experience, enabling new processes, improving workflows, collaborating with a distributed team, writing high-quality code, debugging issues, providing code reviews, estimating work, setting goals, writing project specifications, coaching and mentoring junior team members, connecting to data sources, designing databases, developing new working practices, providing tooling for optimized processes, and more.
The ideal candidate will be an expert in backend web service programming, web development technologies, data analytics, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, machine learning, and data visualization.
The role requires an analytical, data-driven mind, a passion for experimentation and analytics, and the ability to mentor others in the team.

Requirements:

Expertise in backend web service programming in Python and Node.JS.
Solid understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience in data analytics, statistical analysis, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, machine learning, and data visualization.
Analytical, data-driven mindset with a passion for experimentation and analytics.
Ability to mentor and provide leadership to team members.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality code and providing code reviews.
Experience in database design and architecture for connected systems.
