The Senior Software Engineer - Integrations role focuses on enabling seamless integrations between the platform and key partners, including Enterprise and Mid-Market customers.
Responsibilities include delivering scalable API, SSO, and LTI integrations, troubleshooting technical challenges, and creating best-practice documentation.
The role combines hands-on engineering with strategic collaboration across teams to deliver world-class EdTech integrations.
Key tasks involve partnering with customers to architect and validate integrations, enhancing documentation, supporting and troubleshooting integrations, building proof-of-concepts, and mentoring teammates.

Requirements:

Candidates must have strong expertise in API and LTI integrations, particularly with EdTech systems like Clever, Canvas, Schoology, or Google Classroom.
Proficiency in modern web development technologies such as Node.js, Next.js, React, TypeScript, Serverless & Edge functions, and PostgreSQL is required.
In-depth experience with SSO technologies, including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID, is essential.
Experience in troubleshooting integrations for school systems and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is necessary.
Candidates should be able to translate technical concepts into user-friendly language for varied audiences.
Familiarity with student information systems (e.g., PowerSchool, Blackboard) and their integration processes is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, focusing on API integrations or similar technical solutions, is required.
Proven experience with integrating third-party platforms and SSO solutions, as well as direct experience with EdTech platforms, LMS, or SIS systems, is necessary.
