Description:
- The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for supporting the software development team in all aspects of product development, testing, and implementation.
- They will mentor and train other software engineers in the Drupal content management system (CMS) and work on solutions for societal challenges.
- Responsibilities include maintaining MarTech systems, creating custom modules, designing layouts, writing/debugging PHP/HTML/CSS/JavaScript code, and troubleshooting software issues.
- The engineer will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to improve product functionality and outreach, participate in estimation discussions, and enhance technical skills.
Requirements:
- At least six years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in designing and architecting software solutions, leading technical practitioners, and working in an Agile environment.
- Proficiency in PHP code using the Symfony framework, Drupal, SQL, front-end and backend JavaScript frameworks, SSL certificates, and web protocols.
- Familiarity with Acquia, AWS, DAM tools, CDNs, and working with marketing teams.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases is preferred.
