Description:

  • As a Senior Software Engineer in the DTC team, you will design and develop software for a state-of-the-art distributed storage system.
  • You will be responsible for developing, unit testing, and maintaining code for various components that provide access to the file system.
  • Participation in code reviews and contributing best practices for software development is expected.
  • You will troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues found during testing cycles.
  • Writing engineering tests for owned modules to ensure new feature correctness without negatively impacting system performance is part of your responsibilities.
  • Collaboration with senior engineers to design and implement various systems is required.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or a Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
  • Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming is essential.
  • Experience with the Linux operating system is necessary.
  • A strong foundation in algorithms and data structures is required.
  • Knowledge of Linux multithreaded software development is highly desired.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are a must.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team is required, along with an eagerness to learn new technologies and improve technical skills.

  • The pay range for this position is between $109,600 and $174,000 USD, with individual pay rates depending on various factors.
