Description:
As a Senior Software Engineer in the DTC team, you will design and develop software for a state-of-the-art distributed storage system.
You will be responsible for developing, unit testing, and maintaining code for various components that provide access to the file system.
Participation in code reviews and contributing best practices for software development is expected.
You will troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues found during testing cycles.
Writing engineering tests for owned modules to ensure new feature correctness without negatively impacting system performance is part of your responsibilities.
Collaboration with senior engineers to design and implement various systems is required.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or a Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming is essential.
Experience with the Linux operating system is necessary.
A strong foundation in algorithms and data structures is required.
Knowledge of Linux multithreaded software development is highly desired.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are a must.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team is required, along with an eagerness to learn new technologies and improve technical skills.

The pay range for this position is between $109,600 and $174,000 USD, with individual pay rates depending on various factors.
