Description:
The Senior Software Engineer at Datacom is responsible for developing and maintaining applications software, with a focus on writing code/programming.
Responsibilities include leading and guiding development teams, designing, coding, testing, and installing applications programs, developing solution documentation, and evaluating applications requirements.
The role also involves ensuring systems are developed within budgets and time frames, overseeing analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of computer programs, and monitoring system performance and availability.
Additional tasks include installing, testing, and maintaining systems software, as well as analyzing and rectifying operating systems problems.
Requirements:
Expert knowledge of software and performance monitoring techniques, along with strong financial management practices.
7+ years of experience in Software Development, preferably with 1 year at a large IT site.
Advanced skills in major programming languages such as Reactjs, JavaScript, .Net, C#, PowerShell, and SQL development tools.
Proficiency in Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate), and Sharepoint.
Ability to understand user needs and develop well-designed programs, good time and resource management skills, proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer relationship building, management, presentation, verbal and written communication skills, consultative and planning skills, and ability to escalate with a solution focus.
