Description:

  • Talkiatry is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work remotely and contribute to building products that enhance its services and offerings.
  • The role involves leading feature and story development for the patient portal, adhering to established design patterns and best practices.
  • The engineer will help create a reliable, observable, and maintainable codebase, ensuring adequate test coverage and monitoring.
  • Responsibilities include interfacing with third-party providers to maintain robust API integrations for seamless data flow and system interoperability.
  • The engineer will identify and communicate benefits and tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Mentoring teammates and supporting their learning and growth is a key aspect of the role.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product, design, clinical, and operations, is essential to deliver clear outcomes.
  • Clear communication of requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences is expected.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 4+ years of experience as a developer.
  • Familiarity with common frameworks and tooling, including testing frameworks, is required.
  • Experience with common agile practices such as scrum, Kanban, and CI/CD is necessary.
  • Candidates should have experience with architecture, design patterns, and coding for maintainability.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js is essential.
  • Bonus points for experience with AWS Cognito.
