Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• Tenable is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and operation of services and APIs for large-scale Cloud Native SaaS applications.
• The core architecture is event-driven, utilizing Kafka and AWS SQS, with microservices built in Kotlin and Go following DevOps practices.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software development experience with a focus on JVM-based languages, preferably Kotlin.
• Experience leading technical aspects of a product end-to-end and contributing to products developed in Kotlin or Golang.
• Proficiency in building and running enterprise-scale applications in cloud-based microservices environments.
• Strong understanding of data structures, microservices architectures, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps services, queue-based architectures, and AWS services.
• Ability to design high-availability services for processing large datasets and ensuring scalability and reliability of Cloud Native SaaS applications.
