Description:

Everbridge is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Bengaluru R&D team in a full-time remote position.
The role involves building software that helps save lives as part of an integrated physical security platform.
The Senior Software Engineer will work as an individual contributor in an agile cross-functional development team, developing and testing features collaboratively.
Responsibilities include following best practices, standards, and processes to deliver world-class software.
The engineer will develop Windows-based client and server solutions that integrate edge hardware devices into a situationally aware platform.
The team addresses various problems, including displaying geospatially aware smart city data, saving video feed snapshots, dynamic near real-time event processing, and access control management.
The primary focus is on .Net 4.5+ C# implementations, with regular integration of functional library frameworks.
Continuous integration with TFS is utilized, including unit testing, selenium-based GUI testing, and static analysis.

Requirements:

A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
Candidates must have at least 6 years of experience as a professional software engineer, either in commercial or open-source projects.
A range of software development and delivery experience is necessary.
The candidate should have an interest in solving complex problems that contribute to safety.
The ability to design solutions and communicate them across various skill levels is essential.
Candidates should be eager to own feature work and be involved in the details throughout a feature’s lifecycle.
A deep understanding of the Microsoft Stack, including C# .Net 4.5+, .Net Core, and SQL Server, is required.
Strong experience on Windows platforms, both Desktop and Servers, is necessary.
Experience with large code-base products or enterprise-grade software is preferred.
Exposure to Windows desktop application development is also required.
