The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for architecting and maintaining the infrastructure behind Eternal’s member-centric products.
The role involves ensuring that the application and platform deliver reliable, secure, and personalized experiences to a diverse community.
Key responsibilities include designing scalable backend systems, implementing and optimizing APIs, managing data securely, collaborating with stakeholders, leveraging cloud platforms and DevOps practices, ensuring system reliability, and providing technical leadership.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional backend development experience with proficiency in Go, Python, Node.js, Ruby, or Java.
Proven expertise in API design, specifically in building and maintaining RESTful and GraphQL services is required.
A strong background in database management, including relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) solutions is necessary.
Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is essential.
A deep understanding of security best practices related to data handling and API development is required.
Candidates should have the ability to architect fault-tolerant, highly available systems for high-traffic environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for crafting member-focused solutions are essential.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $125,000 to $175,000 a year.
