Jobgether is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - EDR (Ruby/Rails) in the United States for a fully remote position.
The role involves joining a high-impact engineering team focused on developing a mission-critical Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platform.
Responsibilities include owning the full-cycle development of scalable features across backend and frontend systems.
The position requires end-to-end responsibility from design to release, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior developers.
Key accountabilities include delivering high-impact projects, writing clean and maintainable code in Ruby on Rails, and working across the stack including frontend, backend, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
The engineer will collaborate on technical solutions, provide mentorship, break down complex requirements, and drive innovation within the team.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 5+ years specifically in Ruby on Rails.
Proficiency in JavaScript and CSS, along with familiarity with REST APIs, is required.
Strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments is essential.
A solid background in Linux-based development environments is necessary.
Candidates should possess strong problem-solving, debugging, and code reviewing skills.
Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is a plus.
Familiarity with Stimulus, Turbo, or Hotwire is considered a bonus.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience is required.
