Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• CollegeVine, an AI company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build new products and scale existing systems.
• The engineer will work on developing new AI agents and enhancing existing ones with new capabilities.
• Responsibilities include using applied machine learning and AI agents to improve products, collaborating with various teams, and focusing on problem-solving rather than just coding.
• The role involves writing performant code in Purescript and Ruby to extend the CollegeVine platform.
• This is a fully remote position with a preference for candidates in the US or Canada.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including internships.
• Proficiency in relational databases, modern IasS platforms, (Javascript || Ruby), and MVC web frameworks like Ruby on Rails.
• Experience or interest in learning typed-functional programming with Purescript.
• Must be a pragmatic problem solver, eager to learn, and dedicated to team success.
• Deep care for end-user experience and pride in building products to meet customer needs.
