Description:
The Senior Software Engineer - Digital Workplace will be part of the Workplace Engineering team specializing in web architecture and analytics.
Responsibilities include designing and delivering web-based systems and SAAS, providing insights into the workplace experience, enabling new processes, improving workflows, collaborating with a distributed team, writing high-quality code, debugging issues, providing code reviews, discussing ideas, estimating work, setting goals, mentoring junior team members, connecting to data sources, designing databases, developing new working practices, providing tooling for optimized processes, and contributing to a positive work environment.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in backend web service programming in Python and Node.JS, have a solid understanding of web development technologies, be skilled in data analytics, statistical analysis, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, machine learning, and data visualization.
The role requires an analytical, data-driven mindset, a passion for experimentation and analytics, and the ability to mentor others in the team.
Requirements:
Expertise in backend web service programming in Python and Node.JS.
Solid understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Proficiency in data analytics, statistical analysis, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, machine learning, and data visualization.
Analytical, data-driven mindset with a passion for experimentation and analytics.
Ability to mentor and provide leadership to team members.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Experience in database design and architecture for connected systems.
