  • Responsibilities include defining the technical vision, driving innovation for key technical systems, writing clean and reusable code, delivering work following best practices, creating technical design documents, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with music industry stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Software Engineer in a software development company is necessary.
  • You must be able to drive the design and implementation of complex technical systems across multiple teams.
  • Experience in writing or refactoring code with a focus on maintainability and optimization is essential, along with improving test coverage and contributing to high-quality code reviews.
  • You should be able to write comprehensive technical designs for complex systems, clearly communicating technical tradeoffs and assumptions.
  • Continuous improvement of code quality and systems under your ownership is expected, including defining technical best practices and efficient development processes.
  • A proactive approach to delivering better solutions efficiently is required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline, including Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields such as Physics or Mathematics with relevant experience, is preferred.
