The Senior Software Engineer will lead projects involving API development, integrations, and data delivery pipelines.
The role includes acting as a technical leader, collaborating with engineering and product teams, debugging complex production issues, and mentoring other engineers.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a culture-first, team-first attitude.
A minimum of 5 years of production software engineering experience is required, including developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and integrations.
Proficiency in Go (Golang) for backend development and experience with Elasticsearch for search and analytics pipelines is necessary.
Experience managing cloud-based infrastructure, including S3 and GCP, and proficiency in tools like Protobuf for data serialization is required.
Proven experience leading technical projects and navigating competing priorities in a fast-paced environment is essential.
Strong debugging skills and the ability to diagnose complex issues across APIs, integrations, and distributed systems are required.
A collaborative mindset and willingness to engage across teams to deliver customer value are important.
