Description:
- The Senior Software Engineer position at Gravitee.io involves working on a leading open-source API platform to build, manage, and monitor APIs for worldwide developers and business users.
- The role includes collaborating with the Support team to enhance customer experience with Gravitee's products.
- Responsibilities also entail developing new features, integrating APIs, and front-end interfaces, as well as providing technical support to clients.
- The position requires participation in Tech Sprints to improve the existing codebase and sharing knowledge during internal Gravitee TechTalk sessions.
- Key tasks involve investigating and resolving support tickets, prioritizing issues for customers in multiple time zones, and creating knowledge articles for documentation.
- The ideal candidate will be innovative, detail-oriented, and focused on improving processes and tools within the team and for customers.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of professional experience in application development.
- Proficiency in Java for backend applications and experience in building UI apps using TypeScript with Angular or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of writing automated tests to prevent regression bugs.
- Enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and continuous learning, with a curiosity for all project aspects like CI, dependency management, and vulnerability management.
- Possession of problem-solving skills, patience, resilience, and attention to detail to provide accurate solutions to stakeholders.
