Cut+Dry is a fast-growing FoodTech startup that connects foodservice distributors, their customers, and suppliers on a single order management platform.
The company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build features and enhance the experience of apps for restaurant operators and food distributors.
The role involves working closely with customer-facing teams and collaborating with engineers, product managers, and the executive team.
Responsibilities include developing high-quality code, writing technical user stories, resolving defects, managing technical debt, and developing unit tests.
The engineer will practice DevOps methods, monitor software performance, participate in code reviews, and engage in agile ceremonies like sprint planning and retrospectives.
The position may involve supervising junior technical resources.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 4-5 years of relevant developer experience is mandatory.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in developing high-performance and scalable applications in an agile environment.
Extensive hands-on experience with modern programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, PHP, React, Python, GraphQL, and MySQL is required.
A strong understanding of agile development techniques like Scrum, Lean, XP, and Kanban is essential.
Candidates should have significant experience building and deploying applications on cloud platforms like AWS.
Fluency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, configuration, containerization, and infrastructure as code, is necessary.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
