Description:
NextGen Federal Systems, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle for innovative software systems for Department of Defense (DoD) customers.
The selected candidate will be part of a distributed development team operating in a dynamic, agile, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include participating in all phases of the software engineering process, including research, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment.
The position offers a salary range of $100,000 - $140,000 a year.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 8+ years of formal work-related experience in software engineering.
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance is necessary.
Required skills include experience with software architecture, design, implementation, testing, and integration.
Proficiency in Python software development and full stack software development is essential.
Candidates should have experience writing unit tests and adhering to coding standards.
Familiarity with microservice architectures is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and presentations, are necessary.
Candidates should be able to serve as a task lead or mentor.
