Remote Senior Software Engineer, Front-End

Description:

• Join a growing robotics delivery company as a Senior Software Engineer, Front-End, responsible for driving rapid development of fleet applications.
• Work on projects ranging from prototyping with UX specialists to rolling out improved UI frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate with the Fleet Operations team to understand their needs for tasking rovers in urban environments and provide them with the necessary tools and data.
• Partner with User Experience Interaction engineers to design and implement intuitive interfaces for human-robot interaction.
• Innovate and advocate for sustainable patterns for component UI development.
• Make software design decisions based on your learnings and contribute to the overall application development.

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern libraries like React, Redux, and Vue.
• Strong experience in SPA programming with a focus on performance and tooling.
• Familiarity with UI CI/CD mechanisms and deployment-related tooling like service workers and CDNs.
• Proven track record of mentoring junior and senior engineers and shipping production code with full instrumentation.
• Ability to design and build simple systems that evolve into complex systems while maintaining functionality.
• Skill in converting vague problems into tangible production code.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
