Remote Senior Software Engineer, Front-End Focus

Description:

• As a Senior Software Engineer - Front End Focus at Kin, you will work independently on a small team, managing various features on in-house web applications developed with Angular and Lit (Web Components).
• You will be expected to require minimal guidance at the senior level, champion systemic solutions, and mentor junior engineers while occasionally leading small teams.
• Responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code in Typescript, HTML, and SCSS, implementing solutions across the stack, participating in pair programming, taking on advanced design tasks, attending daily stands and weekly retros, collaborating with cross-functional team members, and contributing to the engineering team's code culture and practice.

Requirements:

• Must have a track record of shipping large, complex software projects.
• Expert proficiency in modern Javascript/Typescript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS is required.
• Experience with modern SPA frameworks (preferably Angular 2+), Web Components, BEM methodology, Object-Oriented CSS principles, and custom component library development.
• Familiarity with API integration (Ruby on Rails experience is a bonus) and mentoring junior engineers.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and located in Central or Eastern time zones (CST & EST).
• Must be a fast learner and unable to sponsor employment visas.
