The company is seeking a full-stack software developer with front-end web performance experience to build the next generation views in Smartsheet.
The role involves writing clean, efficient, performant, and scalable code.
Responsibilities include identifying and eliminating performance bottlenecks in new Smartsheet views using TypeScript, React, and Redux.
The developer will collaborate with individual views teams to understand upcoming features and their impact on system performance.
The position requires profiling view applications to identify web performance bottlenecks and developing best practices for web performance.
Participation in code reviews and architectural discussions with other engineers, UX designers, and product managers is expected.
The role includes providing technical leadership and mentorship to team members.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of software development experience.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in SaaS application development is required.
Proficiency in React and Redux is necessary.
Experience in building performant and scalable web applications is essential.
Candidates should have a successful track record in environments with frequent production releases.
Experience in writing complex asynchronous code that communicates with multiple services is required.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is necessary.
Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis.
