The Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) will design, build, deploy, and own consumer applications and services in support of Happy Money’s lending business.
The role involves working in an autonomous environment, taking general direction, and formulating specific tasks to achieve desired results.
Key responsibilities include developing products for exceptional customer experiences, owning design and delivery of features, participating in the software development life cycle, collaborating with various stakeholders, and mentoring other engineers.
The engineer will also prioritize team needs, uphold code quality, and demonstrate a proactive mindset.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in web development with React.
At least 7 years of experience as a software engineer developing scalable solutions.
Production experience with ReactJS, CSS, GraphQL, Angular, Javascript, NodeJS, and familiarity with Python and Java.
Strong preference for delivering products across the entire technology stack, with a focus on frontend user interfaces.
A belief in testing all designs and developments using automation.
Ability to scope, scale, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Results-oriented with the ability to unblock oneself and others.
Familiarity with AWS technologies such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.
Experience developing scalable and highly available consumer applications.
A BA/Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
