The Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) will be part of the Product Engineering team responsible for building web-based self-serve products for industrial users.
Responsibilities include contributing to frontend application design and implementation, setting team standards, collaborating with UI/UX designers, converting designs into high-quality UI, working with Product Managers and Solution Architects, and maintaining code documentation.
The onboarding process includes learning about the company, team operations, code base, agile methodologies, system architecture, and infrastructure.
Key qualifications include 6+ years of experience, a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, expertise in JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, React, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, front-end build tools, and best practices for modern applications.
Bonus qualifications include exposure to industrial control systems and experience with B2B enterprise SaaS products.
The company's tech stack includes Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, C# .NET, PyTorch, Cypress, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Gitlab CI, GCP, and more.
The interview process consists of multiple stages including technical interviews, design and product discussions, and culture fit interviews.
The base salary for UK residents is £91,200 - £136,800/year with equity included.
Requirements:
6+ years of work experience in frontend development.
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent.
Expertise in JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, React, TypeScript, and RESTful APIs.
Experience with modern front-end build tools, architectural patterns, and user experience concepts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
