Description:

Vanta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Frontend to join their remote team in the US.
The mission of Vanta is to secure the internet and protect consumer data by continuously monitoring and verifying security.
Frontend Engineers at Vanta will own and drive high-impact, user-facing projects in a rapidly scaling company.
The role involves integrating deeply with customers’ SaaS providers, infrastructure, and employee laptops to analyze data relationships and surface potential security threats in real time.
The engineer will collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to elegantly present complex relationships and threats.
Responsibilities include understanding customer needs, building scalable products, designing and developing new functionalities using modern frameworks and tools (TypeScript, React, Node.js), and influencing the future of the frontend web architecture.
The position also involves sharing best practices in modern frontend web development and contributing to defining Vanta's engineering culture.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 5 years of full-time work experience as a software engineer, including 2 years as a frontend engineer.
Experience in technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects is required.
A proven track record of building products and features from the ground up (0 to 1) is necessary.
Previous startup experience or work in an environment that prioritizes a bias for action is preferred.
Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js is essential.
An interest in learning about security or prior experience in the security space is a plus.

The base pay range for this position is $163,000 - $223,000, with potential for commissions/bonus, equity, and other company perks.
