OpenSea, the world's first and largest NFT marketplace, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Frontend to join their team either in New York or remotely in the US.

The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to enhance buyer, seller, and creator experiences with a focus on performance, scale, and finesse.
Responsibilities include shaping the team's vision, guiding peers, leading technical decisions, architecting front-end systems, improving web performance, and implementing features and user interfaces.
Desired experience includes mastery of TypeScript, React, HTML/CSS, experience with browser APIs, design-oriented detail orientation, and strong customer empathy.
The base salary for this full-time position ranges between $160,000 to $305,000 plus benefits & equity.
Requirements:
Must have mastery of TypeScript, React, and HTML/CSS, including layout, specificity, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.
Experience with browser APIs and optimizing front-end performance is required.
Must possess extreme design-oriented detail orientation and a demonstrably good sense of craft.
Strong customer empathy and critical thinking skills to evaluate the impact of features on the community, users, and business.
Familiarity or experience with blockchain technology is not strictly required, but a genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for the technology is necessary.
