Remote Senior Software Engineer, Frontend

Description:

• Rockbot is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer specializing in Frontend development to join their collaborative team.
• The role involves developing and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and reusable software components for core products.
• The engineer will identify bottlenecks and performance issues, implementing optimization strategies.
• Close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and Customer Support, is essential to ensure successful product delivery.
• The position requires making impactful decisions on product, code architecture, and processes.
• The engineer will work in a highly collaborative environment and mentor junior engineers while contributing to technical discussions.
• The role includes being a leading voice of engineering in the audio pod and helping to grow it.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of frontend software development experience, specifically with Vue, React, or similar technologies.
• A minimum of 2+ years of mobile software development experience using Native, React Native, or similar frameworks is required.
• Candidates should have at least 2+ years of backend software development experience, preferably with Go or similar languages.
• Experience in deploying large-scale web applications in a CI/CD pipeline is necessary.
• Candidates must be able to define a well-architected frontend codebase and write high-quality code and tests.
• Experience working directly with backend engineers to implement RESTful APIs and collaborating with design/product teams to build product requirements is essential.
• Candidates should have experience working with high traffic, performant web applications and frontend build systems (e.g., Vite).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required, along with a detail-oriented approach.
• The ability to proactively identify and address problems, finding solutions to improve processes and outcomes, is essential.
