Description:
Phaidra is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to join their Product Engineering team.
The company focuses on developing AI-powered control systems for industrial facilities to enhance automation.
The role involves contributing to the design and implementation of frontend applications, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with UI/UX designers.
Responsibilities include converting designs into high-quality UI, working with Product Managers and Solution Architects, and maintaining code documentation.
The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of experience, a degree in Computer Science, expertise in JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, React, TypeScript, and RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of modern front-end build tools, architectural patterns, user experience, and excellent communication skills are required.
Bonus points for experience with industrial control systems and B2B enterprise SaaS products.
The company's tech stack includes Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, C# .NET, PyTorch, Cypress, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and more.
The onboarding process includes familiarizing with the company, system architecture, and development processes within the first 90 days.
Requirements:
4+ years of work experience in frontend development.
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent.
Expertise in JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, React, TypeScript, and RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with modern front-end build tools, architectural patterns, and user experience concepts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
