Remote Senior Software Engineer - Frontend

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer - Frontend will work for Pano, a climate tech startup focused on wildfire early detection.
• Responsibilities include leading the development of new features, maintaining and enhancing the existing codebase, conducting code reviews, and championing code quality.
• The engineer will collaborate with the product team to enhance map functionality, improve the custom canvas video player, and extend React application functionality.
• They will contribute to evolving coding standards, evaluate new technologies, prioritize tech debt, and manage the legacy application.
• Proficiency in REST API integration and strong debugging skills are required for ensuring application stability and reliability.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of Frontend Engineer Experience with expertise in HTML, CSS, Typescript, React, React Testing Library, Jest, and Redux (Recoil).
• Proficiency in Design Systems like Material Design and component libraries such as Material-UI.
• Effective communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Preference for candidates in the PST or MT time zone.

Benefits:

• The salary range for the position is $145,000 - $170,000 per year, with the final offer based on qualifications, experience, and location.
