Description:
The Senior Software Engineer - Frontend will work for Pano, a climate tech startup focused on wildfire early detection.
Responsibilities include leading the development of new features, maintaining and enhancing the existing codebase, conducting code reviews, and championing code quality.
The engineer will collaborate with the product team to enhance map functionality, improve the custom canvas video player, and extend React application functionality.
They will contribute to evolving coding standards, evaluate new technologies, prioritize tech debt, and manage the legacy application.
Proficiency in REST API integration and strong debugging skills are required for ensuring application stability and reliability.
Requirements:
4+ years of Frontend Engineer Experience with expertise in HTML, CSS, Typescript, React, React Testing Library, Jest, and Redux (Recoil).
Proficiency in Design Systems like Material Design and component libraries such as Material-UI.
Effective communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preference for candidates in the PST or MT time zone.
Benefits:
The salary range for the position is $145,000 - $170,000 per year, with the final offer based on qualifications, experience, and location.
The position is eligible for stock options in addition to salary.
