Remote Senior Software Engineer, Frontend

Description:

• Rockbot is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer specializing in Frontend development to join their collaborative team.
• The role involves developing and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and reusable software components for core products.
• Responsibilities include identifying bottlenecks and performance issues, implementing optimization strategies, and working closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, QA, and Customer Support to ensure successful product delivery.
• The engineer will make impactful decisions regarding product, code architecture, and processes while working in a highly collaborative environment.
• Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, contributing to technical discussions, and driving technical decisions are also key aspects of the role.
• The position offers an opportunity to be a leading voice of engineering in the audio pod and help grow it.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of frontend software development experience, specifically with Vue, React, or similar technologies.
• A minimum of 2+ years of mobile software development experience using Native, React Native, or similar frameworks is required.
• Candidates should also have 2+ years of backend software development experience, preferably with Go or similar languages.
• Experience in deploying large-scale web applications in a CI/CD pipeline is essential.
• Applicants should be skilled in defining a well-architected frontend codebase, writing high-quality code and tests, and working directly with backend engineers to implement RESTful APIs.
• Experience collaborating with design/product teams to build product requirements and working with high-traffic, performant web applications is necessary.
• Familiarity with frontend build systems, such as Vite, is required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, along with a detail-oriented approach, are essential.
• Candidates should demonstrate initiative in identifying and addressing problems proactively and finding solutions to improve processes and outcomes.
