Civitas Learning is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Frontend to work remotely in LATAM.

The role involves building and maintaining scalable and performant frontend web applications, from analysis to production.
Responsibilities include new feature development, maintenance of web applications, optimizing frontend architecture for performance improvement, and working across multiple products and engineering teams to resolve customer issues.
The position also involves leading other engineers in software engineering design and best practices with a focus on customer satisfaction.

The candidate should have 5-10+ years of experience in software or data engineering.
Experience in designing, debugging, and building modern web applications is required.
Expertise in Javascript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, NPM, React, React Router, Javascript Build Pipelines, JS Testing Framework, and AWS is a must.
An intermediate English reading level is necessary.
Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Typescript, Next.js/Vue, RDBMS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform is a bonus.

The salary for the position ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 USD.
