Description:
- EverBright, a clean energy company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to accelerate the decarbonization of residences and businesses in the US.
- The role involves developing software tools for solar, energy storage, and energy efficiency projects, leading design and development of projects, and making technology decisions impacting core application functionality.
- Responsibilities include designing and developing remote solar system tools, sales workflow management tools, energy modeling technology, and application scalability infrastructure.
- The candidate will code in multiple languages, conduct system testing, document technical requirements, collaborate on software design projects, and lead software module construction.
- Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of software engineering experience, proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, and familiarity with React or AngularJS.
- Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of software engineering experience, a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, experience in the solar/renewable energy industry, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript
- Proficiency in React, AngularJS or similar front-end framework
- Ability to lead design and development of software projects
- Experience in system testing, unit tests, and technical documentation
- Collaboration with product team to refine requirements
- Strong understanding of software system architecture
- Previous experience in solar/renewable energy industry is a plus
